Terms and Conditions

Welcome to Cache Pets. These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of our website and the pet care services provided by Cache Pets (“Company,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) in Logan, UT and the surrounding Cache Valley area.

By booking a service, using our website, or otherwise engaging with us, you agree to these Terms. Please read them carefully.

Our Services

Cache Pets provides in-person dog care services, which may include dog walking, dog park outings, grooming and hygiene care, check-ins and potty breaks, drop-in visits, and in-home dog sitting. Service availability depends on our schedule, your location, and the needs and temperament of your dog.

Meet-and-Greet Requirement

We require a free initial meet-and-greet before the first scheduled service. This meeting allows us to confirm that your dog and caregiver are a good match and to review your home access, feeding routine, and care instructions. We reserve the right to decline service if we determine we are not the right fit for your dog.

Booking and Scheduling

Bookings are confirmed only once we have responded to accept the requested date and time. Requests submitted through the contact form, by phone, or by email are not confirmed until we reply.

• Recurring bookings are scheduled by agreement and may be adjusted with reasonable notice
• Holiday dates fill quickly and should be requested as early as possible
• We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate schedule changes, subject to availability

Payment

Rates for each service are listed on our Pup Services page and are confirmed at the time of booking. Unless otherwise agreed in writing:

• Payment is due at or before the time of service
• Recurring clients may be invoiced on an agreed schedule
• Holiday rates may apply to services on or around recognized holidays
• Rates are subject to change, with notice provided before your next booking

Cancellations

We understand that plans change. Please provide at least 24 hours’ notice for any cancellation. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice may be subject to a late-cancellation fee. Repeated same-day cancellations may affect future availability.

If we must cancel a scheduled service due to illness, emergency, or unsafe conditions, we will notify you as soon as possible and will not charge for the cancelled visit.

Your Responsibilities

To allow us to care for your dog safely, you agree to provide:

• Accurate information about your dog’s health, temperament, allergies, and behavioral history
• Proof of current vaccinations, including rabies, as required by Utah law
• A well-fitting collar or harness with current identification
• Reliable home access instructions, keys, or entry codes where applicable
• Adequate food, medication, leashes, and supplies for the booked period
• Current veterinary and emergency contact details

You are responsible for keeping this information up to date and for disclosing any history of biting, aggression, escape behavior, or contagious illness.

Pet Behavior and Safety

Your dog’s safety and the safety of others is our priority. We reserve the right to end a walk or visit early, decline off-leash activity, or discontinue service if a dog behaves aggressively, poses a risk to people or other animals, or if conditions become unsafe. You remain responsible for any injury or property damage caused by your dog to the extent permitted by law.

Veterinary Care and Emergencies

If your dog appears ill or injured while in our care, we will attempt to contact you and your emergency contact. If we cannot reach you and we believe your dog requires prompt attention, you authorize us to seek veterinary care on your behalf. You are responsible for all veterinary costs incurred, including transport where necessary.

Home Access and Keys

Keys, lockbox codes, and entry instructions are kept confidential and used only to provide the services you have booked. Please advise us in advance if anyone else will be present at the property during a scheduled visit.

Inclement Weather

In extreme heat, cold, storms, or poor air quality, we may shorten outdoor time and substitute indoor care, enrichment, or a potty break to protect your dog’s wellbeing. We will let you know when this happens. Services will not be reduced in price where the scheduled duration is still provided.

Photos and Media

We take photos and videos of your dog during our services and share them with you as part of our updates. With your permission, we may also share these images on our website or social media. You may ask us at any time not to publish images of your dog, and we will honor that request. See our Privacy Policy for more detail.

Limitation of Liability

We carry insurance and take reasonable care in providing our services. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Cache Pets is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses, or for illness, injury, escape, or property damage that occurs without our negligence, including situations arising from undisclosed health or behavioral conditions, unsecured fencing or gates, or inaccurate information provided to us.

Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

Termination of Services

Either party may discontinue services at any time. We may end an ongoing arrangement immediately where there is a safety concern, non-payment, or a breakdown of trust. Where possible, we will give reasonable notice so that you can arrange alternative care.

Website Use

The content on this website, including text, photographs, and branding, belongs to Cache Pets and may not be copied or reused without permission. Our website may link to third-party sites for convenience; we are not responsible for their content or practices.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our services, business practices, or legal requirements. Any updates will be posted on this page with a revised Effective Date. Continuing to book services after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Utah. Any dispute arising from these Terms or our services will be handled in the courts of Cache County, Utah.
